Basic knowledge of container freight (Part7): 2018-07-19 10:50:00 Solid bulk container (solid bulkcontainer) has 2-3 loading ports on the top of the box, and a funnel-shaped unloading port at the bottom or end of the box for bulk loading Airtight container for cargo. When loading, it is generally filled from the loading port on the top of the box, and it can be sucked out from the loading port when unloading, or an automatic tilting chassis truck is used to tilt the other end of the container to lift the goods from the bottom of the box or at the end door. The discharge port automatically flows out. The bulk container is suitable for loading rice, wheat, soybeans and other bulk grains, as well as various feed, resin, borax, cement, gravel and other goods. When loading grains, due to the need of quarantine, some bulk containers are also equipped with auxiliary devices for fumigation. Refrigerated container (refrigeratedcontainer) Refrigerated container (reefercontainer) Insulated container (insulatedcontainer) Airtight containers that transport fresh fish, fresh meat, frozen food and fruits, vegetables, films, medicines and other goods that need to be kept at a certain temperature. There are two types: refrigerated container and insulated container. [page] (1) A refrigerated container is generally equipped with a built-in refrigerating device at the front end of the container. When the freezer is working, the cold air blows out from the ventilation pipe at the rear end of the box through the gap between the ribs on the box wall and the ventilation guide rail at the bottom of the box, and returns to the freezer to circulate through the cold air suction port on the front wall. In order to improve the cooling effect, the entire refrigerated container is covered with insulating materials on the walls, top and bottom of the container. The working temperature of the refrigerated container is between -28℃~+26℃. According to the needs of the cargo, it can be automatically adjusted to keep the temperature in the container unchanged. (2) Insulated containers are mainly used to load fresh goods such as fruits and vegetables. Generally, dry ice and other refrigerants are used to prevent excessive temperature rise in the box, and the usual holding time is about 72 hours. There are adequate heat-proof structures around and above and below the box. Platform container (platformcontainer) A container with only a bottom, four corner posts and a number of detachable side posts, but no top, side walls, and end walls (some are equipped with detachable end walls). It has the advantage that it is convenient for cranes or forklift trucks to load and unload goods from above or from the side. Suitable for loading heavy machinery, steel, vehicles, pipes, logs, electrodes, steel ingots and barreled goods, etc. Since there are no vertical and horizontal components on the upper part of the slab container, in order to prevent the deformation of the corner post from causing the displacement of the corner fittings and affecting the operation of the container special spreader, the strength requirements for the corner post are higher. Container's overall external dimensions (container's overall external dimensions) The maximum length, width, and height dimensions of the outside of the container, including the permanent accessories of the container. It is the main parameter to determine whether the container can be exchanged between ships, chassis cars, trucks, and railway vehicles. It is an important technical information that each transportation department must master. Container's sinternal dimensions (container'sinternal dimensions) The maximum length, width, and height dimensions inside the container. The height is the distance from the bottom surface of the box to the bottom of the top plate, the width is the distance between the two inner liners, and the length is the distance between the inner panel of the door and the inner liner of the end wall. It determines the internal volume of the container and the maximum size of the cargo in the container. Container's sunobstructed capacity (container's sunobstructed capacity) The loading capacity calculated according to the inner size of the container. Containers of the same specification have slightly different internal volumes due to differences in structure and manufacturing materials. The internal volume of the container is an important technical information that must be mastered by the material department or other packers. Equipment Receipt (equipmentreceipt) A certificate that the owner or hirer of the container entrusts the container loading and unloading area, transfer station or inland station to the cargo party’s ready-to-use container person or its representative to hand over the container and the equipment. The delivery order shall be issued to the cargo owner by the carrier or its agent, and the heavy or light container will be picked up or returned to the district or station accordingly. The first handover note is printed on the back of the handover terms of use. The main content is the cost of the container and equipment during the cargo owner’s use period, the division of responsibilities for damage to or loss of the equipment and the loaded goods, and damage to a third party. The undertaking of compensation. Equipment handover is generally handled at the gates of districts and stations. The equipment includes containers, chassis vehicles, trolleys and electric motors. The transfer order is divided into two types:'go out' and'enter'.
