Chile and China have always been good friends who trust each other and good partners who cooperate for mutual benefit.

On the afternoon of November 15th, during his visit to the APEC Leaders Informal Meeting in Lima, Chinese President Xi Jinping met Chilean President Boric.

Xi Jinping pointed out that Chile is the first country in South America to establish diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China. For more than a century, both sides have always firmly supported each other's core interests and major concerns, and are good friends who trust each other and good partners who cooperate for benefit. The Chinese side is willing to take the opportunity of the 55th anniversary of the diplomatic ties next year to strengthen strategic communication, deepen mutually beneficial, share development opportunities, and promote the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Chile to achieve new and greater development, better benefiting the people of both countries

Borich said, "Before my visit to Peru, I was invited to attend an international book fair in Santiago, where all of your were exhibited, as well as the works of many other Chinese poets, writers and artists. This made me very happy. The future development of bilateral relations will benefit our many cooperation agreements, and even more from the humanistic dialogue and educational exchanges between our two countries."
