The regional grocery chain Lucky's Market is closing most of its shops and laying off thousands of workers in February, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported. Bed, Bath & Beyond operates a number of shops including World Market, buybuy BABY, Christmas Tree Shops, and One Kings Lane. Bed, Bath & Beyond plans to close about forty four shops in 2020. The grocery chain Earth Fare mentioned in February that it would close all its stores.

Liquidation gross sales on the remaining stores might soon be underway, as properly, according to courtroom documents. Lord & Taylor launched liquidation gross sales at 19 of its 38 shops in August because it filed for chapter eleven chapter protection.
